Tiraz Fortress is the name given to a group of fairy chimneys leaning on one another, that contribute to the distinctive silhouette of Uçhisar. The group of rock-carved structures in 7 – 8 levels located within the historical texture of Uçhisar is made up of six fairy chimneys rising between the Pigeon Valley and the neighbourhood of Kayabaşı, the neighbourhood that also includes the hotel argos in Cappadocia. We’re working on the idea of developing some of these structures as a museum.
